The Barn
From the outside, the barn looks new… but inside, the 1500 square foot main floor of the barn is adorned with reclaimed barn wood and tin from over five, late 19th century, barns from all over the state of Kansas. These historical barns either succumbed to the ages or fell prey to one of our states occasional tornadoes. On the main floor, the space opens up to a two story vaulted ceiling and reclaimed wood bar. This space is usually kept open for dancing and food but can seat up to 40 guests. Also on the main floor is the “Tin Room” which can seat up to 40 guests. This space is covered in galvanized tin from the reclaimed barns and is a great location to set up food, favors, and more reception tables. Through the Tin Room is the quaint and bright Bridal Suite where the bridal party can enjoy a private space to get ready away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the wedding commotion. Upstairs, the 2500 square foot loft which can seat up to 100 guests has an eclectic collection of gently used tables and chairs passed down from our friends and family over the ages. The Barn’s combination of wood and metal creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. You and your guests can enjoy the Barn’s unique beauty while surrounded by slivers of our unique Kansas history.
